THE DETAILS, BEFORE YOU DECIDE

Good questions.
Clear answers.

Full-term prices. Separate engine licenses. Automatic renewal.

How much does dbmigrate cost?

Each engine edition costs $10.95 USD monthly, $99 for one year, $148.50 for two years, or $207.90 for three years, per developer seat. The full selected term is charged upfront. Each seat can be installed on up to two devices. Applicable tax is shown at checkout.

How are the multi-year discounts calculated?

Two years saves 25% against two $99 annual terms: $198 minus $49.50 equals $148.50. Three years saves 30% against three $99 annual terms: $297 minus $89.10 equals $207.90. The discount applies to the full multi-year term.

Do subscriptions renew automatically?

Yes. Monthly subscriptions renew every month; one-year subscriptions every year; two-year subscriptions every two years; and three-year subscriptions every three years. The published renewal charges are $10.95, $99, $148.50, and $207.90 respectively, before applicable tax. When checkout opens, use Account → Billing to manage your subscription through Stripe. Cancel before the next renewal to stop the next term charge.

Does choosing a longer term unlock extra features?

No. Every term includes the same selected engine edition, desktop application, dbmt CLI, and installation on up to two devices for one developer. A longer term changes the billing interval and multi-year savings.

Does one license include PostgreSQL and MySQL?

No. PostgreSQL and MySQL are separate products. Choose PostgreSQL for versions 13–17, or MySQL for 8.0 and 8.4 LTS. If you need both engines, purchase a separate license for each. Each edition supports same-engine workflows; it does not convert between PostgreSQL and MySQL.

Is the price per device or per developer?

Per developer seat. One developer can install their selected edition on up to two devices, for example a macOS laptop and a Windows workstation. These installations do not create two separate developer seats.

Can I purchase online now?

The prices and subscription terms are published, but online payments are not open yet. Checkout will become available once the payment backend and Stripe configuration are deployed.
